Technical Document Translation Experts
Our scope of work as defined by the TÜV auditors is: "Language Translation of Documentation and Information for Medical, Manufacturing and Technical Services Industries." We have assisted both small and large companies in bringing many new products to market in a multitude of countries. Translating a single Users' Manual from English into as few as a dozen additional languages has made the difference for many of our US based clients. Quality is assured by implementing our ISO 9001:2000 procedures. We employ only professional accredited/member translators of the ATA or other governing body.(Accreditation is obtained individually by passing a battery of tests designed to confirm a level of excellence in the language, the subject material and its terminology in both source and target languages.) Emphasis on regulation of Quality and Quality Assurance Processes assures you of the consistency required in the translation of your documentation.
Professional Affiliations
A corporate member of the ATA, Worldwide Translations, Inc. is also affiliated with Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, the international association. At last count we have supplied finished product in more than forty different languages. Continuing education through our memberships in the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), the Food and Drug Legal Institute (FDLI) and Drug Information Association (DIA) makes WWT a partner in guaranteeing your adherence to regulatory requirements, standards and regulations around the globe. It is too easy for the misunderstanding of technical differences between world regions to result in dangerous incompatibilities in translated documentation (for example, different voltages or units of measure).
Continuing Education
A survey of our demographics will reflect superior skill in both English as well as the target language. Our translators are all native speakers and US residents. We require our translators to maintain up-to-date knowledge of specific subject material and terminology in both languages. This obligates them to journey back to their native lands on a regular basis for continuing education and to maintain access to information resources and reference materials.
Double Fail-Safe Protection
While our translators are US based, our editors are in-country, that is, they are living in the target country for the translated material. This optimal quality assurance will ensure, through an additional resource, that the text is matched to local use.
Industry Specific Background

All quotations for translations are Fixed Price and based on the English word count, which is often as much as 30% less than the target language. This ensures a faster turn around in response to your inquiry and allows the translation project to get an accelerated start. The reduced quote deviation will make it easier for you to define your budgets by the project or on an annual basis. We will supply the finished project in softcopy files to your specific format and/or hardcopy originals from desktop publishing.
